Our Programs
In-Kind Goods
Our In-Kind Goods program is the backbone and an important source of support for Don’t Stop Belizein - Stronger Together Belize’s mission. We have been sourcing goods like school supplies, clothing, shoes, non-perishable food, diapers, toys and hospital supplies for distribution for over 20+ years. We frequently engage in donor drives to support all of these initiatives at various points throughout the year. Please contact us to arrange a donation drop-off. You can also sponsor a box for shipping at $150 per box.
Education
We are on a mission to sponsor one hundred students with tuition fees between $600-$1,200 BZE ($300-$600 US). In 2020, we sent five computers to students. This year, our goal is to send fifty computers at the estimated cost of $275-$500/per computer. The minimum wage in Belize is $3.25 BZE ($1.65 USD). Acquiring the funds for books and tuition from Pre-K through high school can be challenging for some Belizean families. Providing access to an education for their children can cost between $600 and $6,000 BZE per year. Join us in relieving some of the financial burdens that these families face while trying to educate their children. Belize is over 2,000 miles away but imagine the difference that we can make if we link together.
Food Security is Healthcare
Tourism was Belize’s socioeconomic backbone until the pandemic. Now many individuals, including those who worked in the once burgeoning food, arts and crafts, and hospitality industries, are out of work. Compounding the issue, the Belizean government is no longer accepting unemployment applications so those who weren’t accepted into the program or just recently lost their jobs will not have a financial safety net to weather this difficult period.
As a Belizean, the images of long food pantry lines devastated Founder, Desire’s heart. It is a call to action. The aim of this campaign is to provide families with emergency funds to purchase much needed food.

• $10 will provide 10 pounds of beans or two chickens.
• $28 will cover the cost of a 50 pound sack of rice.
• $58 will provide food and household items for a family of four for two weeks.
• $115 will provide food and household items for a family of four for a month.
